RSV immunization is available for infants and some young children. The RSV vaccine is available for pregnant women and older adults who are more likely to develop severe illness and be hospitalized.

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common respiratory virus that usually causes cold-like symptoms. For infants, young children and older adults, it can be more serious. These groups of people are more likely to develop severe RSV and need hospitalization.
