Start with your primary care provider

If you’re not sure where to go when you need mental health support, your primary care provider is a good place to start. They care for all aspects of your health, including your mental health and well-being. They can assess your needs, discuss treatment options and connect you to counseling services or our team of behavioral health specialists for additional support.

Your primary care provider can help with concerns such as:

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD): Difficulty focusing, impulsivity, restlessness or hyperactivity
Anxiety: Uncontrollable worry, nervous feelings or panic attacks
Depression: Ongoing sadness, feelings of anxiety and emptiness, decreased energy or a loss of interest and pleasure in activities previously enjoyed
Life transitions and relationship challenges: Such as starting college or an adult job, becoming a parent or entering midlife or retirement
Stress and burnout: Ongoing stress often causes burnout, which can result in physical, emotional and or mental exhaustion
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): Long-term stress following a dangerous or traumatic event
