Get With The Guidelines®- Heart Failure is an in-hospital program by the American Heart Association. It seeks to improve care by making sure hospitals are following the latest treatment guidelines.
The Chest Pain Center accreditation is an established quality improvement program. It is designed to help cardiovascular teams effectively care for acute coronary syndrome patients. Through the program, hospitals establish high-quality processes for sustainable performance to provide the best care to patients.
This award recognizes Sanford Health’s success in implementing a higher level of care for heart attack patients. It shows that we have reached our goal of treating these patients to the standards outlined by the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.
